By registering for, or using Nekoweb's services, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree to the terms below, please do not use the service.

Best-Effort Service

Nekoweb is a service offering Static Site Hosting to its users (the "Service"). Nekoweb is developed by a small team that does its best to maintain the reliability of the Service. Regardless of payment, Nekoweb cannot in good faith guarantee a service level, uptime guarantee, or any other promise of its level of services. Subscribing to the Service is subscribing to a fun collective of effort to provide you the best services we can.

You alone are responsible for backing up the data you put on Nekoweb. In the event of a total server failure or other error causing data loss, your data may not be able to be recovered.

Recurring Payments

The Nekoweb subscription is a recurring service. By purchasing a subscription through Nekoweb’s Patreon, you are entering into an agreement for the lifetime of your payment. If you purchase a subscription with a credit or debit card, that same card will be billed the price of your tier three days before your subscription expires. To prevent your card from being billed, cancel your service.

If your expiry date passes and Patreon is unable to collect funds from your attached card, your Nekoweb subscription benefits will end. This is automatic, and cannot be avoided. Patreon is a third-party service we use, please review their Terms of Use here: https://www.patreon.com/policy/legal.

Termination of Service

Nekoweb reserves the right to terminate your access to Service at any time. Examples of when your access may be terminated include:

• Breaking Nekoweb's Acceptable Usage Policy (detailed below)
• You're not Nekoweb subscriber and your bandwidth usage is causing issues for other users. You will be contacted before any action is taken (unless this is done with malicious intent).
• Creating more than 2 accounts per person. If you need to host multiple sites, Nekoweb subscription allows you to have multiple sites per account.

Nekoweb has adopted the following general policy toward copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (http://lcweb.loc.gov/copyright/legislation/dmca.pdf). To contact Nekoweb's Designated Agent to Receive Notification of Claimed Infringement ("Designated Agent") with any copyright infringement notices, please contact us at dmca@nekoweb.org.

Procedure for Reporting Copyright Infringement:
If you believe that material or content residing on or accessible through Nekoweb's websites or services infringes a copyright, please send a notice of copyright infringement containing the following information to the Designated Agent listed below:

• A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that has been allegedly infringed;
• Identification of works or materials being infringed;
• Contact information about the notifier including address, telephone number and, if available, e-mail address;
• A statement that the notifier has a good faith belief that the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
• A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and the notifying party is authorized to make the complaint on behalf of the copyright owner.

Acceptable Usage Policy

Nekoweb doesn't care what you do on your site, as long as it abides by these guidelines:

• Nothing that is against the law in Germany.
• Nothing that’d break our website.
• No spam. (i.e: multiple websites hosting the same or similar content in order to garner attention)
• No malware, phishing sites, or anything intended to maliciously collect someone's information.
• No hosting of pirated or "cracked" software.
• No harassment or bullying, this includes "witch hunting" or creating sites made to slander or "doxx" other people.
• No impersonation of others.
• No Copyright Infringement.
• No NSFW content on your index page (the part that shows in the preview.) You will need to create a welcome page that warns users of possible NSFW content.
• No real-life pornography.
• No real-life gore or shock content.
• No "lolicon", "shotacon" or any sexual content regarding minors.

Is it legal in Germany?

Most of the laws in Germany as it applies to Nekoweb are common sense. However, it is not Nekoweb's responsibility to tell you whether or not a given use case is legal. If Nekoweb determines your use of Nekoweb is illegal, you may be contacted to take action or your access may be terminated, depending on the severity and circumstances.
