My Pointless Web Design Pet Peeves

Just yesterday I recognized that my web and article sections were nearly identical, unfortunately, this will be keeping that trend going, as I'll be ranting about web design elements I dislike. This article is solely based on my opinions, and the evidence used is fringe at best. Deeply scientific stuff.

Local Car Culture as Viewed by an Idiot

As I was adding the 'web' tag to my site I realized that my web section and blog section were identical, so I figured I should talk about something new. Here it is, an article about shoddily put together vehicles predominently owned by secondary school students. I literally have no idea who will read this, it sounded more interesting in my head. This article has no real meaning, and there'll still be another article today.

Personal Information and the Indie Web

I like to think that I've seen a reasonable amount of personal sites, and in large part, I think they're awesome. However, I can't help but notice that some people may take the personal part a little too seriously.. maybe don't say "My name is Walter Hartwell White. I live at 308 Negra Arroyo Lane Albuquerque New Mexico 87104." on the front page. This article is basically just my excuse to ramble about the importance of internet privacy.

I Owe a Lot to Welcome to the N.H.K.

Welcome to the N.H.K. is far from the best show I've watched, and quite frankly, I doubt I'll ever be in the right mental state to watch it again. Despite this, it impacted me more than any other piece of media I've consumed in my life, and I suspect it could have a similar effect on many people in a similar position to where I once was.

I kinda... forgot to update this, because I spent so long making an entirely new index and menu page. They look really cool and I hope you think so too. Have fun!

SSGs Are Good, Actually

Throughout my brief stint in the brainrot/Indie Web community, I've noticed that a lot of people seem to be heavily opposed to the use of static site generators, seemingly feeling as though the use of one would make their site less legitimate. I think this is stupid, so I'm going to ramble about how awesome SSGs are.

The 2000s Happened; Haruhi Suzumiya

Weebs nowadays have to endure countless low quality isekai adaptions as the generic seasonal Anime of choice. In the 2000s, however, light novel adaptions were the new fad of the time, which brought countless pieces of seasonal shows that nobody remembers, and, also, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya anime adaption, a masterpiece characterized by absurdity and jokes that probably don't land for the majority of people watching it today.

Top ten worst interests; Polish Rock

I have zero Polish blood in me and understand none of the language, yet I've somehow ended up having a strange obsession with Polish Rock. Watch as I go on a heartbreaking journey of self discovery by vaguely talking about Polish bands I like. Sounds riveting, right?

The Indie Web Described By a True Idiot

The Independent Web, or Indie Web, has gained a lot of popularity in the past decade or so, I mean, you're on this site, but what exactly is the Indie Web? I still don't really know, but I sure as hell am going to ramble about it for a page, it's my duty as one of the many egotistical personal-site oweners.

My Irrational Love for Monogatari

The Monogatari Series is arguably one of the most controversial franchises to come out of Japan, and for good reason. Despite this, it's honestly my favorite franchise of all time. I attempt to justify my love for this problematic series, whilst simultaneously marketing it to a new generation of losers in this article. Click the title, it'll be funny

Failure and Webdesign

I've spent the past three weeks spending the bulk of my freetime in webdesign hell, and after this experience akin to that of what Sisyphus went through, I learned one thing. I'll probably never like my site, but at least I can get a cool blog post out of it. Click the title above if you want to read a masterfully crafted text about my perilous journey.

(my obsession with) Crappy Old Tech

Over the years I've collected a lot of extremely well made technology that's over 40 years old, some of which could be considered extremely desirable. This article isn't about those. I'm going to write a full page about shitty technology that you'd find for ten bucks at a yard sale. You know you want to read it, click the title.

Yeah, Breakcore Sucks (but i love it)

I have a terrible character flaw, I actually like breakcore, in this article I try and rationalize why I like Breakcore and you should like it too, briefly going over the history of the genre, and a few artists. Don't read this if you're sane, if you're not, click the title. Sorry for writing this article, but someone had to do it, and I'm the brave martyr that
